2024-09-09 Feature: Staff work times

Features

Staff working hours
Set working hours and days for staff, as well as detailed time tracking regulations. Times may be set for specific time frames to allow contract and availability changes.

Staff time balance
New staff view to show and calculate the working time balance and overtimes as well as missing time entries.

Planner: Staff availability days
The planner now shows the days on which a person is available/working depending on working hours. Example: a person working for 4-day weeks from mon - tue and wed - fri would show the wednesday as unavailable, as well as showing the set working times in the day view.

Analytics: Vacation overview
We have introduced a new, quick overview of all vacation days of staff, for a quicker holiday planning

Enhancements

  • Absences: Add absences for any staff member
  • Absence types: Set whether to treat an absence as unavailable (no working times, no availability) or available (e.g. for home office - still require regular working time)
  • Absences: When entering absences, instead of skipping weekends, you may now skip any days that you are not working
  • Public holidays: Added ability to change holiday region for staff with no impact on previous availability
  • Modals: Increased dark mode contrast
  • Remove days from booking: Improved operation speed

Changes

  • Absence types: Fair, Home office, Training and Training school are now considered available for working (and requiring time to be tracked). Please change your team settings if this is unintended. (This is a new setting that was introduced with this release.)
  • Vacations: We now check for existing vacations in the same time frame when trying to add a new one
  • Navigation: Introduced second-level items for quicker navigation
  • Renamed "Inventory items" to "Products & Services"

Bugfixes

  • Time tracking: Fixed an issue when trying to add a time tracking entry on a project page
  • Settings pages: Fixed "back" button label in English
  • Navigation: On mid-sized devices when displaying a vertical scrollbar, an overflow issue was resolved
  • Invoicing: Issuing company would not be correctly selected when editing an invoice

Templates for downloading bookings
Create completely custom templates for creating PDFs of bookings - ideal for things like Call Sheets, Edit Reports and other printouts.

Enhancements

  • Inventory item list: Added ability to change amount of items shown per page
  • Client list: Added ability to change amount of clients shown per page
  • Team activity log: Added ability to change amount of entries shown per page

Changes

  • Cost report: When a booking is multiple days long but has a start and end time, and the resource has an hourly rate, we now calculate the hours times days (e.g. Booking from 01-01-2023 10:00 to 02-01-2023 18:00 -> 8 hours x 2 days = 16 hours)

Bugfixes

  • Staff list: Fixed pagination
  • Team activity log: Fixed pagination and rare possible filtering issue
  • Suites: Fixed new booking to pre-select the suite

Shareable links with the current occupation and bookings may now be created in the Team settings on the Integrations tab - ideal for guiding visitors with hallway screens.

  • Team settings: Split settings into multiple pages, added a new sidebar
